Face Turning This Way & That...
Keen or Dull, on this Path there are no permanent this or that.
The Whole Universe is a Spiritual Source.
There is light & darkness. It shines and flows but do not try to grab them. They appear and disappear in delusion.
Question: How many delusions have you tried to grasp only to find out they are ungraspable?
Do not skirt this quesion. Study the mind and watch what appears. One delusion after the other comes and goes. It is the nature of the human condition.
Take the time to write them down. Then, have a good laugh of how the human condition gets caught in delusions.
Suffering is inevitable for all - consider the many virtuous, kind and patient teachers and practitioners. Christ, Shakyamuni, Suzuki Roshi, Rumi to list a few who suffered and died.
If when I die, the moment I’m dying, if I suffer that is all right…that is suffering Buddha. No confusion in it. Shunrui Suzuki Roshi

Pure Wind aka Inspiration
From…Bob Watkins
A Simple Practice of Pure Wind Mind.
The mind reflects everything in practice!
For most of us we require instruction in the beginning and diligent practice to continue.
Begin and continue!
“…the purpose of Zen…is to make us wonder & answer the wondering with the deepest expression of our own nature…” Richard Baker
Wherever we put our mind, whatever we think, that is where we are… temporarily. Over and over again we think about some thing and then go after it until we find it turns to sawdust.
To see pure wind we see objects in the objective world as separate but make every effort to see everything, every object as oneself. It includes every object that we think is separate. As Suzuki states: when you understand self which includes everything, you have the true way…i.e., birth, aging, sickness & death…forms, feelings, perceptions, impulses, consciousness…………
Question: Do you choose to go with the mental fabrications that come and go as your identity?
Contemplate the objects and subjects in the mind, your mind until everything returns to the ONE and the ONE returns to everything.
Don’t Give Up. Keep Going.
