Surrender
How long will you believe in selfish-desire, ill-will, and this ever-changing mirage?
Put Your Mind on Nothing in It for Me
Surrender to no thing in it for me. Nothing! No selfishness, no ill-will, no mirage.
Surrender wanting your way. Float on the water without flailing. Roll with what happens in your life as your life. Fighting is not an option of high regard.
Roll and float in an open vulnerability with what shows up. Be accepting, stop being judgemental.
Surrender. Yield back. Right where you are. Surrender the desire to be ‘right.’ What will being right get you? A sprinkling of grandiosity?
Unravel your baby fingers from the threads of dominating someone else. From wanting to be on top. From wanting to win. Let go of winning and losing altogether. Stop all measuring.
Surrender your adamant belief that you are right.
Surrender without a fight. Bow to the humility of don’t know mind.
The tree stands and grows and dies in the rain, the snow, the heat, the night – are you any different?
Remove your tiring efforts to get, have and keep. Rest. If you scream, “I can’t!” “I won’t.” – is it a refusal to accept the Truth of birth and death?
What is it that you think and believe you will get from selfish-desire, ill-will and this mirage? From thinking you are right?
In this material world of constant change, what is there to do, to get, to keep? Nothing. When you know that for certain, you will know the path of surrender.
Surrender. …to give up the ego of desire, ill-will and thinking the world is permanent.
